Leon “Sweetie” Thomas Jennings, 57, died Saturday, June 10, in his home.

Mr. Jennings was a lifelong Suffolk resident and retired from Norfolk Naval Base.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy E. Jennings of Suffolk; three sisters, Rosilyn Copeland of Lake Wales, Fla., Jacquelyn Young and Marion Waters, both of Suffolk; one brother, Godfrey Jennings of Suffolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Crocker Funeral Home by the Rev. Isaac E. Williams. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
